Learning to trust

Not sure why I'm posting this, but here you go - evidence - they resonate quite a bit :) Learning to trust     *** Valid during many months: Under this influence you will become increasingly aware that all the truly important events in your life occur without your conscious intervention. This will help you to act with more calm and composure in those areas where you had difficulties in the past or found it hard to make any headway. You should now find it easier to deal with things in a relaxed manner, not brooding so morosely over your own failings and inadequacies. This will also help you to be more understanding when others make mistakes, making you more forgiving. Most people's perception contains blind spots which shield them from some of their deeper and more complex emotions which would otherwise reduce their ability to cope with everyday life. Under this influence you could have the opportunity to come to terms with some of the darker and more hidden influenc...

New moon

And jack. I'm still procrastinating about the job applications. I'm still getting verbal diarrhoea (will I ever learn how to spell the damned word?!) It's hot and sunny in London - I find it absolutely GORGEOUS! I want to go for a run and I think I shall - hunt down Chuck, get some feline loving, so that I can get back and do those damned applications. Talk about self sabotage. Why? I still feel I lack sleep, still have that damned cold hounding me, been overeating like NUTS. Sidika Govani randomly called me last night and we nattered for an hour (the verbal floods came up there) - I ended up talking a lot :P She mentioned a man-boy in London looking for his life partner: 30 years old, Khoja :P and rich, apparently :P I just said, oh why not? I started telling her "oh tell him I don't want kids and that I don't have a job" and then I had to rephrase all those things after she told me, "hey that's something you talk to him about"...

Miracles happen

Alhamdulillah, I only had to go to wimbledon yesterday and today to finish off the forms I did ask for cute guys, sa w quite a fe w and then I realised I hadn't asked for single ones, Shia Muslim ones and ones that thought I was attractive - doh! Sa w t wo or three good looking aka HOT Asian and Muslim fellas today - sigh! Sa w a girl in hijab and weraing the entire coat thing, not my idea of pretty but she had the aura: nice handbag, expensive clothes, obviously lives in wimbledon I said Salaam to her and then I walked off, not folloing up - I suppose there's still a shy part of me that needs addressing - and I was focussing on praying to God: "Come on, she isn't scre wed up, you've given her a job and affluence, give it to me too! And she's so skinny, if you love me as much as you love her, then do something about it! Help me help myself!" I dunno - a good friend of mine emails me today saying hse's envious of my being in London, my dad push...

Oh, the pain

from astro dot com Fair weather     There are wounds that do not heal with time. Instead they start hurting again given certain "weather conditions". If this occurs, subconsciously we will withdraw into ourselves in interpersonal situations, or be oversensitive and react in a hurt manner without apparent reason - or we ourselves become particularly hurtful, without actually wanting to. However, if the weather is fair, as it is now, you have the opportunity to bring these painful things to light - preferably during a personal conversation with someone who is close to you. Looking into painful experiences in this way can make you freer in your behavior, your close relationships and your relation with your body. It can also prevent you from hurting others. Too late - I already hurt somebody today - me I banged a saucepan repeatedly on my head and my thighs - I need to be able to walk so I can go to Sidra's workshop tomorrow. Can't believe I have harmed myself li...

I'm walking away

Reposting from O Healer, heal Thyself She tells me to close my eyes and take in a few deep, cleansing breaths. I imagine him in front of me - as handsome, attractive and Beautiful as ever - I can feel the tugging on my solar plexus and my heart energy centres as we both work on completely releasing all remaining cords and attachments that attach me to him - I'm supposed to ask myself what are the core, underlying reasons or issues that allow me to hook into him and him into me - months after there is no contact and no encouragement or remainder fondness from him - I don't exist in his world But it's so bloody painful having to let him go, consciously choosing to let those who wish to leave, leave my life as we've both served the purposes and reasons that drew us together in the first place To not cling onto self-created memories of a mythical connection and romance My heart literally feels the tugs as the last remnants of the attachment are released - I have t...

My forehead

Do I honestly have "kick me" or "imbecile" or "loserface" written on my forehead? Certain people in my life are telling me things and saying things to me and forwarding things to me that really insult my intelligence. Most of it is uber-ly Islamic stuff about God and pain being a test and marriage and parental permission and I'm like..... WTF? I guess this is karma for stuffing psychology and ENLP and - back in the day - my then current interpretation of Islam down other people's throats. I guess if I look at the intentions behind these people's really, really, really ANNOYING behaviours, I can let it go and ignore it and click delete on the emails and messages. It's like, I want to be spiritual and I've got people who went fundo during Ramadhan stuffing weird-ass stuff in my inbox. And it's not even weird-ass Shia stuff, it's just generic Islam from scholarly people I don't even know or respect. *big shrugs* The...

Comforting cards

No more drama

Remember how insanity is doing something in the same manner and expecting different results? Here's proof what did I repeat? Listening to Sidra's suggestion about going on the website Caving into what might have been intuition and also impulsivity about going back onto the same bloody website I met Imran on Putting my photos up Having to say no to the men I am not interested in and having those I was interested in back off or show no interest or decency to respond writing what I think is an honest and truthful and yet compassionate email and then getting a response like the  one I got from Akhlaq below emails like this: 14-09-2011 Salaam Akhlaq, Thanks for taking out the time from to email - I am sure it must be a really busy time for you! InshaAllah your surgery will go well on Monday and please don't worry about replying to me - you take your  time and do what needs to be done with uni and your health and your life :) To be honest, I think I'm go...

Love comes...

Love comes when we least expect it, when we are not looking for it. Love is never outside ourselves, love is within us. Don't settle for anybody just to have someone. Set your standards. What kind of love do you want to attract? List the qualities in yourself, and you will attract a person who has them. Be ready for love when it does come. Be loving, and you will be lovable. Be open and receptive to love. ~ Louise L. Hay Never learn, do I? I've been on SimplyShia four times today - Hussein hasn't checked in :P Not just him, but the other guys haven't responded and I'm just realising that there's still old stuff about self-esteem and being worthwhile even when no one acknowledges me or that they aren't the ones for me and so it isn't clicking. I did a search, visited to interesting profiles, came across Imran's again and cried - and ate a lot. I know it's not happening with any of those guys on the website - insanity is repeating ...

For the common good

Please remind me if I become an arrogant prick! ;) Hussein read my reply to him at midnight today, hasn't replied - patience! Maybe I shouldn't have asked for a photo - really? Nah! Me is me! J'suis qui j'suis :D Pluto trine MC: For the common good  Mid March 2011 until end of October 2013: During this time gradual changes will take place in your life that will make you more aware of the external and internal forces that make your life move in certain directions. You will gain great psychological insight into yourself and others at this time, and you will go below surface appearances to seek out the fundamental elements of any issue. This is also a time when you may gain power over others in some way, either in your personal or your professional life. You may be given the authority to direct a project or a group of people working together. However, you should be aware that you are acting as an agent of forces that transcend your own individuality, an...

Deliverance

Indeed. InshaAllah. In God we Trust. I never knew how good it could feel to forgive someone you love and still love and be okay with loving him and never being with him. This is with reference to Imran - just in case that wasn't clear enough ;-) I still send him healing energies :-) This allows me to love everyone in my life and even the people who annoy me in the street especially those who try to run me over or bump into me or are just annoying! *whispers* and my own family, especially my dad This is truly Sakeena and the grace of God. May it remain a permanent part of my core. I wish this for everyone - EVERYONE!!! Sukaina's Personal I Ching Hexagram: 40: Deliverance Monday, September 12th, 2011 General Meaning: After a thunderstorm, or any period of extreme tension, a period of new clarity and fresh opportunity follows. The storm has the effect of clearing the air and suddenly reducing atmospheric tension. Deliverance...

Marathons

I read in Venus and Mars on a Date or in Why Venus and Mars collide that when in a relationship, be willing to run a marathon, not just go for a short sprint. That means slow and steady wins the race - or something like that. Wish Imran had been open to doing that - *sigh* New guy, funny guy, from Birmingham. I had visited his profile last week and laughed a lot and had even spoken about his profile for 5 minutes to Sarah last week. She told me to contact him. I told her I don't want to move to from London, he's Khoja and he wants chidlren, lives with his family, mentioned his parents in his profile and is younger than I am (he's actually 27 - must be a funky head day) Good news is that he saw I had looked at his profile and has the £40 membership and messaged me on Saturday :) (Jesus - what the hell? Why am I not talking about God or work? Boys, boys, boys - argh!!!) I changed my profile on Friday night/Saturday morning in one of my moods of panic and frustration...
