Mettle

Away with the Fairies.... I'm writing because what else is there to do for someone like me? As usual, wasting yet another day in my life. Technically, I had intended to donate blood today. But, just like all the other times when blood donation came up, I've got a cold like thing, so my blood won't be helpful. Perfect. I keep waking late, at 8am - or even 9am I was looking up the synopsis of Rockstar - I didn't want to waste my time watching a movie that's crap. The songs are amazing. So the synopsis made me laugh. Sardonically.   Rockstar Movie Synopsis | Story of the Movie Rockstar 2011 The story follows Janardhan Jakhar (Ranbir Kapoor) an uncouth, social nobody in college in Delhi. A good-for-nothing, uncooperative son at home. And a struggling-musician-with-little-hope to his friends and acquaintances... But Janardhan wants to change all that. So when a well wisher discloses the secret behind all great success: that you have t...

Toh Phir Aao Mujhko Satao

I keep listening to these sad, sad songs... not because of him, this 28 year-old crone is wiser than that :) I've been releasing the remnant energies... he is married and found the girl and is doing all that stuff with her. Fin. I am listening to them just because they are so beautiful and I'm in full Urdu/Hindi mode these days. I love being Pakistani - we are so creative and romantic and deep and TALENTED! So posting them here as reference... I also came across this saying I had blogged last year. Apt reminder. Thank you, cher Imam Ali (a.s.). What I would do without you, I have not clue... not a CLUE! "You often ask for something but you are not given it, and then, sooner or later, you are given something better than it. What you wanted is withheld from you so that you can have what is better for you." ~ Imam Ali (a.s.) Tujhe Bhula Diya - Full Audio version I absolutely love this version... Farhan has an amazing voice! A Nusrat Fateh Ali Kh...

Romance

So on Saturday, we as a group released energies to do with sabotages to vulnerability, to success, to gratitude and to romance. And a lot of other things were released... control... other things... no point in documenting it all. I was in full 3D and so nothing magical was seen by moi. Then Ali, the 37 year old Irani guy texted me on Sunday but so late I wasn't in the mood for a chat. We spoke on Sunday and he went into "selling myself as a potential husband" so I told him please don't do that, let's just have a normal conversation. I think Ali might become a new friend... I would like that, I need friends in London. We spoke for an hour, it was good in the sense I have a lot more in common with him than with Imran. Healing, he likes to talk as well.... but not the hubby for me :) When he spoke about hope, I couldn't be present. Because it reminded me of Imran and I winced. Then today, I randomly open up a magazine at the Post Office and it s...

Even now when we're already over...

.... I can't help myself from looking for ya. The best remix of the entire lot. I may even like as much as the original. LOVE YOU, ADELE! Please send me some of your talent... and may you be blessed :)

Set Fire to the Rain

Dear Adele, May you be blessed with inspiration, creativity, music, that voice... and may I be able to tap into all of those talents and make them my own. If you can do it, I can bloody well do it in my own way as well. Thanks and best of luck x I have been playing this song constantly today. My only anchor. A great way to channel my unbridled passions, anger, frustration, yearnings, frustration and exasperation and general fed upness with people and life. And I'm trying to get rid of the last lingering thoughts of him - why on earth won't they DIE already? 11 months after the catastrophic day he messaged me on 23rd August and still... Gabriele started "liking" my cat display pics and... it reminded me of when Imran would click "Like" to things I posted, my status, my photos. Which I then deleted and reposted again, so I didn't have a trace of him left. He frigging annoyed me so much I only went and did all that crazy stuff. And after all o...

Time to move on

“Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.” Mark Twain So, I've wasted the entire day doing nothing but being on the PC the entire day. Well, I researched the courses I wanted to do. And did some yoga. But still... grrr. Better do my meditations and set goals for tomorrow. And go out. And do some gardening. Trust. Feel the loneliness and slight desperation you feel about finding someone and unease you feel about your sustenance and let it go through the "body of glass". Pray to Allah. All is possible. Love this song, btw. It's a perfect song. His voice is like satin. Now this one is on constant replay, making me feel like I'm missing something. I AM NOT. If I am single, it's because that's what is best for me now. When I was in a relationship, that was what was best for me then. Doh. And the disintegrating of the relationship was what was best at the time. And the fact that we are not in co...

Muffins and lingering memories

Thanks to a certain Muffin girl, I now have this on continuous replay. Smooth move, Madihu. Très suave and intuitive. Touché =) *big hug* Boy, am I glad I am almost over him. If I wasn't, this damned song would have made me sob like a baby. I guess it's good I'm continuing with the EFT tapping and releasing him with unconditional love and forgiveness. And that my sarky self is continually pressing the "Get over it, Sukaina" button. And I realise that my destinies lie somewhere else. Far beyond what I am currently limiting myself to. Sidra had told me after our first session way back in October to tap on these phrases: "Even though I have no idea what the future holds for me, I choose to trust that everything is working out for me..." "Release this resistance to self love, self worth... I choose to release it... Release it to the earth, release to the air..." And finally, "Even though, I am obsessed with him, I still deep...

Adele

Dear Adele, You are my new friend. Your voice gives my heart wings. You make me want to break free of everything and sing, sing sing... you make me dream again. I can dream again. You make me want to perform, to create - to SING. A few months ago I would have totally related to this song. Not anymore. I can still feel my pain, your pain and the pain of every single person who has had her or his heart hurt. But it's no longer personal. Well, it's fading away of its own accord. Time and distance heals... It just is. I try to observe it now. Love, Sukaina I like her other songs better: Chasing Pavements and Rolling in the Deep. But, this one's an absolutely fantastic song. The BRITS 2011 live performance is the best version. Her voice is that of an angel. And her accent is that of a regular chav. It's fucking hilarious hearing her speak!!! I have absolutely RAPED the replay button. It's that good.

Heal Over

This week's Angel Card: Pay Attention: Notice repetitious signs and your inner guidance, as this can yield valuable information. Heal Over It isn't very difficult to see why You are the way you are Doesn't take a genius to realise That sometimes life is hard It's gonna take time But you'll just have to wait You're gonna be fine But in the meantime Come over here lady Let me wipe your tears away Come a little nearer baby Coz you'll heal over Heal over Heal over someday And I don't wanna hear you tell yourself That these feelings are in the past You know it doesn't mean they're off the shelf Because pain's built to last Everybody sails alone But we can travel side by side Even if you fail You know that no one really minds Come over here lady Let me wipe your tears away Come a little nearer baby Coz you'll heal over, heal over, heal over someday Don't hold on but don't let go I know it's so ...

untitled

Only my tear-soaked pillow is witness to my pleading, begging and wailing for Your mercy, help, guidance and abundance. I trust You will answer in due course. I have no other choice. ~~~ She was right: when you're alone, crying in the dark of the night, there's just you and no-one else. No effing one. ~~~ But, funnily enough, yesterday I finally found some Rumi-inspired comfort in that shattering solitude. It forces you to bleat "Allah" and "Help me" again and again, and communicate solely with Him. No one else is there to depend on, you don't look to His servants to unravel only what He can. You know that if any help is to come, it's only by His Grace and Might. And if it is withheld, that too is a result of His Knowlege and Mercy. Honestly, if I hadn't bought that cute Alan Titchmarsh bucket radio at the Bits and Bobs shop last Saturday, I really don't know how I would have survived last night. Radio DJs are idiots and say the daft...

Outlandish is truly.... outta this world!

How can they be so damned talented? How? How? How? How? How? Comment ?! I had to listen to this three times before I realised it was about AIDS. "Nothing Left To Do" Una mirada Ojos que matan De rodillas en tentacion Una palabra y no puede darle el no Una noche y su alma quiebra con Tremenda fuerza Y quien puede reprocharle Conosco ese momento de flojedad Veneno tierno que siembra la ansiedad Cada día tan confuso Sus demonios fuertes intrusos Cada noche su alma apuesta [Translation] One look Eyes that could kill Brought to his knees by temptation One word and he can't say no One night and his soul is being torn With tremendous force And who can blame him I recognize this moment of weakness Fresh poison cultivates the anxiety Each day so confusing His demons closing in on him Each night his soul is at stake Warm smile - long blond hair Pretty green eyes and skin damned fair For sure lucky to get with a girl like that Couldn't pa...
