" Submitting to Divine will..."
A few words about me Monday 20th May 2013, 9:11 pm, UK
Okay, so we just had a powerful solar and lunar eclipse. Another solar eclipse on 25th May. Eclipses mean change. In addition, I just came out of a weekend spiritual healing workshop. And I have to do three courageous things. So here I am. Again. Round FIVE on this site. Took forever to come up with yet another username, kind of wish I'd kept it Ethereal Flame... but I really like the earth, and turbah always reminds me of Imam Ali. Now... what can I say that I haven't said before? Uhm, I promise NOT to yell at you if I feel threatened by the attention :) Note to self: true strength comes from gentleness, rudeness is a major sign of weakness. I am honest, a bit rough around the edges, yet graceful, cheeky, becoming more allowing, detached, accepting, flexible, open hearted and open minded. I have recently become aware that the more I evolve and contribute to my self growth, my soul is desirous of more simplicity within and without. I mean, I understand the needs of living in the material world and am currently updating my wardrobe and my really old Nokia phone, yet I am slowly getting that simplicity in thought, word, intention and action allows for the unbelievable lightness of being and my soul is better off with being light.
Money is a blessed energy, I get it. I need quite a bit of it to survive, I get it. Money can perform miracles, especially when shared - oh yes. I want to build lots of houses and toilets for my fellow peeps back home in Pakistan. Recently, I made a small contribution and felt gutted I couldn't do more. Yet, my awareness is greatly increasing that once we understand that everything is truly illusion, we can play with the illusions with full awareness and wisdom. To know where our values, beliefs, opinions, fears and habits come from, to question if they are even ours, and, if not, are we willing to let them go and replace them with your own authentic, individual yet Divine nature?
So yes, I see myself more of a soul who desires freedom and courage to be integrated fully into her being. So, courage dictates that I mention that, at this moment in time, I do not see myself as the kind of woman who will be happy in birthing and raising children. It's been like this for the last 10 years. I feel I am meant to challenge the preconceived ideas of what is desirable about the divine feminine. I love kids, for short periods of time. I am a cool aunt-type of person. Let's attribute it to my Sun in Aries, Moon, Ascendent, Mars and two other thingybobs in Scorpio. I am a gifted healer, using Reiki, EFT and other modalities, no paper to prove that, though :) It feel that since I am quite passionate about being an energy healer, I shall be directing my energies toward making it a means to contribute to the consciousness and wellbeing of the planet. How? I must take some time to introspect. Shift happens, and I'm trying to keep up! As of now, I currently work in a role as admin secretary for a charity. Talk about smashing all your ideals and grand plans to make a difference in one full swoop! In Urdu, we call it khichri. I am looking forward to finding a job that fits me better... so I guess I'd better start looking. I write a blog on Blogger called O Healer, Heal Thyself. If you come across it, it will be an interesting, intense, kooky read. Although I rant quite a bit, I usually infuse my communications with peace, love and healing energies... so regardless of what's written, you will benefit from just being on the page - I hope! I'm open to any truly spiritual, humble, down to earth, emotionally mature and aware, communicative, honest, scrupulous, profound, kind, generous, awakening male who may remind me of the purity of Imam Ali, but I'm still asking for new ways to go about this. Until then, I shall amuse myself with reading some interesting profiles... aw, bless :) I love animals, especially cats. Yes. I am going to get a cat. You have been warned. I love music, it is source of inspiration, vitality, peace and healing. Dancing and signing are my ways of expressing myself. I am somewhat introverted, so it's usually inside my house. I am who I am, I am where I am and I aspire to become lighter and more divine... some really rough edges have been smoothed out in the last three years. I'm much softer and loving, no more Artemis Persephone self-righteous rage shall be forthcoming, unless absolutely necessary, of course, lol :) I'll keep changing what I write here, I keep changing and energetically, the people that will be interested will be different, and more attuned with who I am. I love to travel... maybe I'll do something this year. Glastonbury, Avebury... quite do-able. I can be quite random. Actually, very random and weird, once I feel safe enough to express my authentic self. I love to rantle, which is a mix of a ramble and a rant. I tend to perceive things intuitively better than analyze them. A Bollywood movie just got released Aashiqui 2 and the songs have inspired my renewed efforts in this area of allowing myself to commit to a real relationship. Just the songs, mind you. Recently saw clips of the movie, oh my gosh what utter tripe! (said in a completely non-judgemental fashion.) Plus JT's 'Mirrors'. 8 minutes of pure genius. Please excuse all typos... it's a little karmic glitch. I used to hate on people who were grammatically and spelling challenged. Now I do it all the time! And no longer judge myself for it, yay! :D Oh, and I recycle and am quite good with reusing. And it's a big deal for me. Preserving the planet and all. That's the Elemental shaman inside of me. Here's a little poem I just came across for myself to embody this year: The Warrior's Prayer by Stuart Wilde I am what I am. In having faith in the beauty within me I develop trust. In softness I have strength. In silence I walk with the gods. In peace I understand myself and the world. In conflict I walk away. In detachment I am free. In respecting all living things I respect myself. In dedication I honour the courage within me. In eternity I have compassion for the nature of all things. In love I unconditionally accept the evolution of others. In freedom I have power. In my individuality I express the God-Force within me. In service I give of what I have become. I am what I am: Eternal, immortal, universal, and infinite. And so be it.
