Meditation
keeps you from exhausting yourself with worry and recharges your energy
after working magick or other exertion. Being completely internal, it
tends to be undetectable if someone else is around.
As adults, sometimes it's hard to see our own innate preciousness. But
it is there. Does your inner critic sometimes say mean things to you?
Find a picture of yourself as a small
child and imagine saying those things to him or her. Now imagine saying
loving and encouraging things instead. The energy shift will be almost
immediate. Love yourself well today. You are precious beyond measure and
we love you. ♥

The
Moon Goddess: From a distance clothed in soft white light,/ She graces
the sky, she rules the night./ My heart unlocked she holds the key,/
Together bound eternally./ Her pull profound, the tides she inspires,/
The ebb and flow of my desires./ My life, the sea, she does caress,/
With hope, with love, the Moon Goddess.
"Once upon a time, we were children. Now, we’re adults. Life didn’t stop
for us after we exited childhood. It simply evolved into a different
form. We didn’t disappear. We graduated
to another stage of existence. Nevertheless, those days are done. We’re
still capable of doing many of the things we did (or didn’t do) back
then, but it wouldn’t mean the same thing to us now. Making mud pies at
age 45 might be a thrilling experience, but it wont be a substitute for
not having done it at age 5. That particular phase of life, with its
unique quality of energy, is gone. Here’s today’s two cents: The
existence of future moments, whether in this life or in the afterlife,
does not minimize or negate the preciousness of the moment we are now
in. If we don’t say 'I love you' now, if we don’t say 'I appreciate you'
now, if we don’t remember to laugh now, if we don’t take the time to
enjoy the ones we love now, is it possible that we’ll get another chance
in the future or in the next life? Maybe so. Will it mean the same
thing? Honestly, we don’t know. The only thing we know for certain is
that the moment we are in is the one to cherish." -T.K. Coleman, Tough-Minded Optimism w/T.K. Coleman
