speaking(Mercury) from the heart(the Sun) becomes of utmost importance.
If there has been something that you have wanted to communicate on any

might be, and take action. The Sun and Mercury conjunction does usually
bode well for speaking with ease, and does also bring a certain level of
optimism and enthusiasm in the way that you think. So if you have been

The MOON has moved into CANCER - so she's in a home sign. MERCURY is
in VIRGO - so he's in a home sign. And MARS continues through SCORPIO -
also a home sign. So three of our personal planets are currently in
home signs, and the other two - VENUS in LEO and the SUN in VIRGO don't
mind being where they are one little bit.
Further foundation
comes from SATURN, still in LIBRA and therefore still exalted and
NEPTUNE in home sign PISCES. So all up, when you look at the bigger
picture, it's generally very pleasing to the eye.
And then we
have Cazimi to top it all off. And one special line a few into that
particular Sting song really struck a chord with me as I pondered
today's general feel. "It's my soul up there."

The Sun and Mercury form a conjunction today at 18 Virgo while the Moon
is in Cancer all day – that’s a power shot of divine feminine. The
generator of your consciousness and the ruler of your mental body are
speaking the same language today and the focus is not only a new cycle
of awareness, but a clear focus on alignment and healing. The Moon is in
her ruling sign Cancer adding emotional power and empowerment to the
day, and with Moon aspects to Pallas, Chiron, Pluto, Uranus and finally
Mars, it seems pretty clear your experience of the new order is igniting
new and more truth-ful directions in your life. ~ Cosmic Path
In
less than 24 hours we have a very special astrological moment, one
where I get to use one of my favourite words. CAZIMI. The term Cazimi is
Arabic, and literally translates into "the heart of the Sun" - it
occurs when a planet moves into a range 17 minutes from the Sun by
conjunction - literally into the heart of the Sun - and this is what
MERCURY is set to do tomorrow.
The theory is that in this range, the planet approaching the Sun is being heavily infused by the Sun -
or in other words, being given a Cosmic leg up.
Now Cazimi is a traditional term and not necessarily used or adopted by
modern astrologers, some of whom see that anything near the Sun is
being burned. But I very much like the idea of superpowers - as well as
love the word - so like a Blue Moon, I'm happy to run with the theory
of Cazimi and test it out for myself.
It's a small window and
like any conjunction (except for those with Neptune) far more potent on
approach than when separating - so the times below are for the approach
window from when Mercury will be within 17 minutes of the Sun, through
to the moment of exact conjunction at Virgo 18deg12.
What to
use it for? Well, Mercury is already very strong in Virgo, but this has
the potential to feature Super Mercury - so if there's an email that
needs to be sent out, or a conversation that needs to be had, or think
tank that needs to happen, this could translate potently. Think all
things *communication* - and use your house placement to make it more
personal - and here's to that infusion from the Sun giving all things
Mercurial an incredible lift off.

The Week Ahead - September 9 - 16, 2012 ~
VENUS, the planet of relationship and harmony, is in our spotlight this
week. On Wednesday, Venus forms a "yod" configuration with Pluto and
Chiron. In a yod (also called "the finger of God"), two planets work
together and focus their energies on a third planet, with the intention
of bringing about important changes and adjustments.
Venus is
at the apex of this week's yod, and will be receiving an energetic push
from both Pluto and Chiron. At the same time, she will be in harmonious
trine aspect with Uranus. So, what does that all mean?
IN
BRIEF, the yod is showing us where old relationship patterns no longer
work. Pluto in Capricorn wants Venus in Leo to be willing to commit to a
new level of honesty and intimacy, and make adjustments to
relationships that have become superficial or based only on satisfying
the needs of ego. Chiron in Pisces reminds Venus that lasting
relationships require both an understanding of other and compassion for
self -- a willingness to let go of issues that don't really matter,
while also knowing when we take that too far and drift into
self-sacrifice or victimhood.
Enter Uranus in Aries -- the
champion of change, with the courage to blaze new trails. Through a
trine to Venus, Uranus provides the inspiration and insights that will
help us to be flexible, to make the changes that are needed, and also to
let go of relationships that are irretrievably wounding or
disempowering.
OUR NEW MOON on Saturday sets the theme for the
next two weeks -- a fortnight that includes Pluto's station (on the
17th), the second Pluto-Uranus square (on the 19th), a T-square between
Pluto, Uranus and Mercury (on the 20th), the Libra Equinox (on the
22nd), and a Full Moon conjunct Uranus and square Pluto (on the 29th).
To say this is a powerful lunar cycle might be understating it, just a
tad.
We are ready for the next round of changes -- and,
because Mercury is conjunct Saturday's New Moon, we are ready to bring
something new into our awareness. This may appear in the form of
higher-consciousness information, or the revelation of a human-level
truth that has been hidden until now.
THE NEW MOON also
closely squares Vesta and Ceres in Gemini, challenging us to think and
communicate in new ways. We will want to watch where we might tend to
get so caught up in facts and logic that we neglect to express or
understand the deeper meaning. The most important truth may be held, not
in the facts, but in the emotions and intentions behind the words.
At the same time, we will also want to observe our motivations for
sharing a truth, an idea, or an opinion. Are our motives "honorable," or
are we seeking to impress or manipulate through what we choose to say?
THE DIRECTIVE to remain as pure as possible in our thoughts and words
is repeated in the Sabian symbol for the 24th degree of Virgo, the
location of the New Moon:

perhaps the upcoming Pluto-Uranus square as well -- are setting in place
some of the themes we anticipate with Saturn's two-year transit of

The subject of duality continues as the Moon moves into her own sign of
Cancer. Of course she feels at home here, and yet also strangely
uncomfortable this time around. Here she encounters the duality often
arising between the mind and the heart. We all know that feeling when

torn and often paralysed in the limbo-land of indecision. It can be hard
to find any unifying force when we’re so fragmented within ourselves.

Today
is the day to stand up for the higher truth of who you are. Not
tomorrow, not after the next seminar, not after you've worked through
this or that issue...but now... today, no matter how hard you feel it is
to do it and no matter how much fear you have that you are not yet

Are
you loving the Journey? Do you love your life, and everyone in it? Or
do you intend to, but then hit a Roadblock, a boundary that seems to
suggest that it's somehow wrong or inapporporate or even impossible to
love beyond that point?
True love knows no boundaries. What
most of us call 'love' is not this. It is something much less than we
are capable of experiencing.
You will know when you

found one of your own 'boundaries to love' by how you react. If
something someone else says or does causes you pain, that's just your
SatNav letting you know you've gone off-course: you have dropped the
connection with them and, much more importantly, with your Self. The
Real You loves them unconditionally, and sees value in every situation
you experience. So if you don't, you tear yourself apart.
In
the moment that you bump up against one of your boundaries, I invite you
to reconsider and reconnect. Allow love to fill you on the inside
first, so you no longer need anything from the other person. Then look
out at them through fresh eyes, appreciating them for doing the best
they can whilst believing their stressful thoughts. Love will dissolve
the boundary and expand to fill your entire world.
This is not
about whether you should stay or go. Loving someone does not necessarily
mean you should spend time with them. Leaving a toxic relationship
(whether it be with a partner, a boss, or extended family members) can
be an act of extreme self-love. But if you choose to go, love them
anyway. Love them from a distance. Love them, because it hurts when you
don't.

The Week Ahead - September 9 - 16, 2012 ~
VENUS, the planet of relationship and harmony, is in our spotlight this
week. On Wednesday, Venus forms a "yod" configuration with Pluto and
Chiron. In a yod (also called "the finger of God"), two planets work
together and focus their energies on a third planet, with the intention
of bringing about important changes and adjustments.
Venus is
at the apex of this week's yod, and will be receiving an energetic push
from both Pluto and Chiron. At the same time, she will be in harmonious
trine aspect with Uranus. So, what does that all mean?
IN
BRIEF, the yod is showing us where old relationship patterns no longer
work. Pluto in Capricorn wants Venus in Leo to be willing to commit to a
new level of honesty and intimacy, and make adjustments to

We are still in the open window of the fabulous Stargate energy that has been present all weekend. The Cancer moon is making a lovely contact with Chiron/Neptune to open our hearts, bring healing and also *spiritualizing* everything. We've been building a new house to live in physically, emotionally and spiritually. Tuesday through Thursday we have a jovial Leo moon to get us out of the house and into the world again. Today
is the day to stand up for the higher truth of who you are. Not
tomorrow, not after the next seminar, not after you've worked through
this or that issue...but now... today, no matter how hard you feel it is
to do it and no matter how much fear you have that you are not yet
prepared. As it says in A COURSE IN MIRACLES, "Do not be concerned about
your own readiness. Just be consistently aware of mine."
Are
you loving the Journey? Do you love your life, and everyone in it? Or
do you intend to, but then hit a Roadblock, a boundary that seems to
suggest that it's somehow wrong or inapporporate or even impossible to
love beyond that point?
True love knows no boundaries. What
most of us call 'love' is not this. It is something much less than we
are capable of experiencing.
You will know when you
have
found one of your own 'boundaries to love' by how you react. If
something someone else says or does causes you pain, that's just your
SatNav letting you know you've gone off-course: you have dropped the
connection with them and, much more importantly, with your Self. The
Real You loves them unconditionally, and sees value in every situation
you experience. So if you don't, you tear yourself apart.
In
the moment that you bump up against one of your boundaries, I invite you
to reconsider and reconnect. Allow love to fill you on the inside
first, so you no longer need anything from the other person. Then look
out at them through fresh eyes, appreciating them for doing the best
they can whilst believing their stressful thoughts. Love will dissolve
the boundary and expand to fill your entire world.
This is not
about whether you should stay or go. Loving someone does not necessarily
mean you should spend time with them. Leaving a toxic relationship
(whether it be with a partner, a boss, or extended family members) can
be an act of extreme self-love. But if you choose to go, love them
anyway. Love them from a distance. Love them, because it hurts when you
don't.
