I WON! I WON! I WON!!!!!!!

Sukaina I WON!!!!!!!!!!!

After your last mail, i thought to myself - lets check what she would do if I disappeared?! And just as i thought...you'd really search for me hahahahahahaha!!!!!

I WON!!!!!!!

Honest truth is if i had your number i would've called you now:-)

So lemme put you at ease ya. I was always planning to reply to your earlier mail over the weekend. This week has been quite rough, even though I got paid out my annual bonus and received my annual salary increase this week as well!

Reason is my mom is not well, and hence i cancelled my work trip to Johannesburg this week (needed to be there Tues and Wednesday past). Also, it is quarter end week, hence i'm like an overqualified slave at work!
My blunder is I didnt let you know about it, but i should've drop you a line to let you know i will reply over the weekend some time. So apologies for all the heartache;-) lol!!!

What really stands out for me is the comfort you have speaking to me, which I can only appreciate. And yes, your honesty is a BIG positive - i hate the pseudo-sanctimonious type.

Truth be told, i dont know how to make up for you feeling a bit crappy with my recent silence. I've also read your earlier mail again, and I cant spot anything offensive or swearing?? Plz fill me in bcos i'm clearly not getting it. Plz remember that with me you need to just be yourself ok.

So listen lady, we are friends ya - i'm not giving you a choice in this matter:-) We do have a rapport, even though we are both clear that there is no matrimonial interest. Most important is that we know where we stand with each other.

KEEP IN TOUCH!! Thats my version of a command!

He made me laugh so much... chuckle... good thing it's day one of healing with Sidra.... so I'm in a good place.

Was going to respond to him right now, but why should I? he wants to play games, go for it :P

Just posting the beginning part... too tired to finish it off...

Bloody hell....! Lmao. Thank you for making me chuckle tonight - it makes up for the crappy month I've had and all the angst my younger selves and ego-mind has put me through :P Who knew that bold masculine arrogance could be so entertaining????? :P

I can't believe I fell for that lame-ass, man-boy tactic *smacks head* Isn't that called manipulation? Argh. What-eva. I was following my intuition about good conduct and makaarimul akhlaq, not playing to your dastardly schemes :P

Good thing I haven't given you my phone number, because that would mean my ignoring your attempts to stalk me while I am too busy and important living my life :P

Congrats on your enhanced financial status... :)

What's up with your mum? I trust she is recovering smoothly.

I still miss Imran, though :P Too much of his and my shared vocabulary and the inner jokes remain in my soul... I'm repeating it all with this dude. Weird. Weird stuff. To be cleared tomorrow.

I picked a fight with Saima. It's all good. If she can't speak to me nicely.... I'll wait until she can...I deserve some respect. She can have her opinion, but I didn't appreciate it this time.

To be cleared tomorrow.

Okay, I caved and wrote him a response.

*rolls eyes at the manipulative masculine arrogance he thinks is so charming*

Hope your mum is feeling better now.

Good thing you don't have my phone number, you'd think I was ignoring you while I was being too busy and important living my life :P

Why do accountants always make the end of the financial year sound like they are God's gift to mankind? :P

Oh dear Lord... what have I gotten myself into?

I'm just glad I have enough integrity to not play lame-ass, man-boy mind-games. I'm only responding immediately because I'll honestly forget if I don't do it now :P And then we wouldn't want to make a grown man cry, would we? ;)

Be like the sun for grace and mercy. Be like the night to cover others' faults. Be like running water for generosity. Be like death for rage and anger. Be like the Earth for modesty. Appear as you are. Be as you appear.

Your turn :P
Short and sweet...

I'd better go to sleep.

The parents

Your Type Four EnneaThought for January 13th— Reflect on your childhood today. As a child, did you believe you were not like your parents? Did you feel that you were not "seen" by your parents and that you did not connect sufficiently with your parents? As an adult, what does this have to do with you now? (The Wisdom of the Enneagram, 182) As I've said myriad times before, these things just slap me in the face with a wet fish most days. I suppose it makes sense that I should send Reiki healing to my relationships with my father and my mother. Haven't really done that for ages. It's too hard sometimes, I choose to ignore and avoid dealing with them mainly because these are the two people I've been connected with since birth. A lot of effort is required in order to 'let things slide'. Living with my dad is hell, and I'm co-creating it on purpose, as part of my desire to annoy, to hurt him the way he hurts me. My mum, well, I guess we'...

Je dois écrire

Je dois écrire . L'ironie est que quand j'avais le temps, je na'i pu pas fair rien . Doesn't matter, I have to write. I keep listening to poets like Keane and Travis and Darren Hayes and I'm here, with the creativity finally bursting forth again, and what's more, the joie de vivre bursting through and I'm not writing and I'm not taking pictures and I'm doing bloody cashier work at Oxfam. I am a swan, I am a seagull that glides and glides. I am the tree, the squirrel. Words are all I have to make myself different from you lot. To make myself lighter, somewhat more worthy. How low is my self esteem that I still believe those falsehoods. I just cannot find people on my wave length. It means I never shall. Or I do and because of my skin colour or because I am behind the Oxfam counter, or because I am in Morden, or London, or the UK, I shall never know. An opera singer. A person who wants to wear kurtis but is scared of going into a desi shop i...

Judgement

Tarot Card Interpretation & Meaning - (20) Judgment Introduction: Judgment can be a card about jumping to conclusions, decisions and judgments. which are too hastily made. If you are prone to such things, this is a clear signal to slow down and give things more thought and to give people "more chances." This can be a real time of spiritual awakening.           General: In general, if you are the one tending to jump to conclusions, you can put a stop to it. If others are making these kinds of decisions about you or about someone you care for, there is really very little you can do, apart from realizing that it's their problem, not yours. Health: This is an important time to let go of the past and any wrongs that you perceive were done to you, particularly if you are dealing with chronic medical issues. Letting go of your need to be right will go a long way toward helping you to feel better. Besides, if ...
