I'm doing a bit in the house and a bit in my inbox. Clearing clutter. Recycle, shred, donate, delete. It might have a ripple effect on my mind.
And then I read an email I sent to Madiha on 11th July 2010.
"Hey,
I'm in a very sad mood today, so this email is coming from this place. I was thinking about you after our convo and Facebook stalked all your convo pics etc.
Then, after writing in my blog, I went to see yours.
Anyway, I didn't quite mention that I was looking for someone - I'm practically deceased at 26. *sarcasm here* So I'm on this stupid website. I say stupid because it's a futile thing to do. Really weird people. I honestly don't know what's the point.
The last guy said 'you look so simple in your photo but you've written such a long profile that I don't understand why you're so complicated....'
I'm going to cut him off."
BAHAHAHA!
He doesn't understand why I am so complicated? Hahaha! I wonder who the heck that was. This was when I was on the crazy old Shiamatch.com. At the time, when I read that, I was really hurt. Because it just seemed that I'd never connect with anybody. At all. That's I'd be very complicated for almost all men and so not "good enough" or "marriageable".
Imran said a similar thing in one Facebook convo:
*shudder*
I wanted to get married? For real?
Yes, I still want to get married. But I was not in my senses when I was on Shiamatch.com. And I still wasn't all there when I signed up for SimplyShia.com in July. You live and learn.
I am in my senses now (I think.).
I finished the last page of my written journal early this monring at 2:30am. Funny thing is, I put my glasses on my bedside before bed and when I woke I couldn't find them. So annoying. I am stuck with the old and ugly ones. That don't fit and give me a headache.
Where are my glasses?
Hmph!
Day one without Facebook. Felt the urge once. Then told self: You'll look like a prat if you go back on after just a day. Yahoo UK printed an article about seven things you should never do on Facebook (for privacy and security reasons) http://uk.news.yahoo.com/38/20110127/ttc-seven-things-you-should-never-do-on-f0c422d.html .
I've done most of them. Hahaha!
But, man! The guy who wrote that comment. It's priceless! I'm so tempted to make that my Facebook status when I go back on it! Hahaha! God bless the plonker for giving me such a good laugh right now.
