Signs you’ve met your soul mate

If I'm to go by what this lady says, ha!

I have seriously deluded myself.... and I have been extremely unfair to Imran Lakha.

By sending him that longest-assed email in existence. Well, I hope I rubbed his Ego nice and proper - oh wow, yet another stalker, person who adores me.

Auto-reaction: Mehhhh...... IGNORE!

Eyes meeting, instant connection? Ha!

Sukaina Chicken Guts cannot get up la courage to meet him. Unless, as has already been run in her mind vividly, she meets him randomly at the mosque one day.... looking towards a specific date, 28th November 2010 when I'm to be in Stanmore for the 40th of my dad's chachi and somehow, he finds himself at the mosque on his birthday.... ha, Sukaina, DELUDED SOME?

YES!

I couldn't even go to meet him - you're supposed to have la confiance and just go boom with a Soul mate, aren't you?... well, actually, I was. I was going to meet him last weekend. But he DUMPED me on 19th October, didn't he now?

*£@!*&!%@!

Now I'm thinking: what the hell was I thinking?!

I'm not ready for a relationship. And it's unfair to assume he would wait for me (not that he ever would, as the constant and daily trawling on the matrimonial website indicates, as the "jumping immediately to the next girl" indicates..... )

There are so many signs that this is wrong. This is not working. I was deluding myself.

Little Miss Delusional. Remind me, I have to make a cartooon character and a storyline for Little Miss Delusional.

Ach... you know what? I'm taking my profile off the website AGAIN!

I was in vengeful mode, but wtf? Who am I kidding?! Leave the teeny bugs alone... to mate with other teeny bugs...

I am a rock, I am an island!

They don't even let you delete your profile *snap* like that - the girl emailed me, and I went all emo on her and then told her it's okay, leave my profile on. (On a l'espoir, toujours... like an imbecile!)

And, funnily enough, my heart chakra bursts aflame again... whooosh!

I need to meditate. Love myself by meditating. I keep avoiding it - ACTIVELY!

Signs you’ve met your soulmate

Posted by Lindsay · Comments (3)

Have you ever met someone and had the feeling that you’ve known them before? Not in a “your face looks familiar” kind of way, but rather felt an inexplicable familiarity when you look into that person’s eyes? Perhaps you’ve shared many lives with them or just one. You just feel it in your bones that this is someone who has been and will be important to you.

Before we’re born into this life, we make agreements – soul contracts – with other souls and agree to learn certain lessons from each other. We may establish a soul agreement with someone in order to awaken a particular facet of our soul that up to that point in time had laid dormant. We may be here in this lifetime to work through karmic issues we shared with this soul in another life (or several).

Most of us have many soul mates (they can be a friend, partner, sibling, co-worker). Not everyone we encounter has a soul contract with us, though.

So how do I know if I’ve met my soul mate?

If you have a particularly deep soul connection, there will be a “freeze-frame” memory of the first moment you met that person. In other words, as we later reflect back upon the first time we met a particular person, we have a clear “picture” in our mind of all of the circumstances of that moment when that person first entered our lives.

Signs you’ve met a soulmate:

  • There is a powerful, instantaneous feeling that you have known the other before
  • You felt an instant and deep connection for each other
  • Words aren’t good enough to describe the electrifying feelings you share together
  • Your relationship is immediate, as if no time has passed since you last ‘knew’ each other
  • Time and space lose meaning when you look into this person’s eyes
  • You have a completely open relationship and don’t fear judgment
  • Neither one of you are dependent on the other for your sense of self
  • Your feelings for each other are spiritual
  • There are no restrictions within the relationship: there is no need for ownership or control
  • Both of you know without a doubt you were brought together for a reason
  • The relationship has a deep sense of purpose
  • You become one without losing your individual identities
  • You see yourself in the other person’s eyes
Soul mate relationships, while wonderful, are almost never pain-free. These people are brought into our lives to help us grow and as a result, they often challenge us more than others. When you find a soul mate it’s not just all jumping on clouds and smiling as you gaze into each other’s eyes for hours (though there is some of that). Lots of growth takes place when you find such a soul.

“People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.” ~ Elizabeth Gilbert

What Is a Soul Mate?

by Nina Lee Braden

What is a Soul Mate? Is it a buzz word being tossed around by New Agers and Romance publishers in order to increase book sales and seminar fees? Is soul mate just another term for true love or is it something else, something more, something bigger and deeper?

Good question, and I don't have a clear answer. If you browse the Web, searching under the term "soulmate," you'll find testimonials of How I Found My Soulmate on the Web, and pointers to Personals Ads for you to search for a personal soulmate, but you won't find much hard information on soulmates or much discussion on what a soulmate is.

There is no definitive theory of soul mates, no accepted definition. Edgar Cayce,
Richard Bach, and Elizabeth Clare Prophet have all written at length on soul mates. Some say that there are different types or categories of soulmates. Three types frequently discussed are the soulmate as an essence twin or counterpart--one's other half, the companion or lover who helps one achieve a goal, and the karmic teacher who comes into your life to teach you an important lesson. For more on different types of Soulmates, see My Soulmate Discovery, Part II.

A belief in reincarnation is not necessary for a belief in soulmates although a great deal of literature on soulmates does presume a belief in reincarnation. Perhaps I'm just a Soulmates Skeptic, but I just cannot believe that there is one and only one person for each of us. In my own life, and in the lives of many friends, I know that there have been times when we've been convinced that, "This is the one. This person is my One True Love, my Soul mate."

However, often in these cases, for one reason or another, the relationship hasn't
worked out. Were we mistaken? Was that person not our soul mate? Or, was the
person our soul mate, and, for one reason or another, we just weren't able to make things work?

I have no answers; however, I do have a theory of my own. I have a friend who introduced me to the theory of a soul tribe. To her, there are many people who have important connections to us, karmic connections, if you prefer to use that term. To her, these people constitute our soul tribe.

In adapting this idea, I feel that we can have what the popular press seems to call or identify as a soul mate relationship with many different persons who are in our soul tribe. Perhaps in a lifetime, we may run into five, ten, or twenty different persons who are members of our soul tribe, and, under the right circumstances, we could have an intense, karmic, soul-shattering relationship with any one of them, or, with several of them, in some cases.

Another way to think of this is to say that we have multiple soul mates.

And, although I can't quite swallow the concept of one and only one true love for each of us per lifetime, I can reluctantly allow the possibility of multiple soul mates. I don't think that there is an unlimited supply of soulmates out there for each of us, but I do believe that each of us has one or more persons who can help us to growth and become all that we can be, who will support, honor, shelter, guide, serve, succor, challenge, adore, and love unreservedly. I also think that most of us manage in some way to miss out on these relationships. Therefore, we are always searching for the ideal relationship, the ideal partner, the soulmate, if you will.

Love is love, and love is never to be taken for granted or belittled. To me, the question is not, "Is this person my soul mate?" but "Is there real love here?" not "Who is my soul mate?" but "Do I give and receive love generously and unselfishly?" not "When will I meet my soul mate?" but "Am I ready to be in an intensely loving relationship, ready to be challenged for growth?"

Soul Mates and Twin Flames by Arianni Masters

Relationships are the most challenging and the most rewarding aspects of this life. The more intimate the relationship the larger opportunity for growth we are given. Relationships are mirrors for us to learn more about ourselves. There are three different types of relationship mirrors.

One is the mirror of who you were. This mirror gives you the opportunity to see how far you have come, the chance to experience the karma that you have already cleared. So don’t get caught up in this relationship worried about why it is coming back at this time, thank it and let it go.

A second type of relationship is the one that is mirroring where you are now on your path. If an issue or person has an emotional "charge" to it, then you still have work to do. This mirror is the hardest to look at because it reflects the things you have not yet finished in your karma. These are the things that we are the most blind to.

The last type of relationship is the one that mirrors your potential. This allows you to have a glimpse at who you could be, if you wanted to. This person is usually someone that you idealize and put on a pedestal.

So look at your various relationships and see which group they fall into. By knowing this you will gain insight into yourself. Self understanding is the entire reason for these mirrors, not to ‘fix’ the other person, but to look at yourself.

Now there are two additional overarching categories of relationships that people always want to know about. The questions go something like this: "Is there a perfect mate out there for me?" or "Will I meet my Soul Mate?" These are interesting questions.

The entire reason for most relationships are so that you can work on your spiritual self and your karma! So with that said, the more you clear up issues for yourself, the more you ARE the ‘right’ person, the more you will attract the person you are looking for.

Soul Mates and Twin Flames are not the same thing. Soul Mates are other souls that have agreed to connect with you on this planet for a purpose. In some cases it is to clear up karma, in other cases it is to finish unfinished business, and for some it is to accomplish a particular goal together. These relationships may be a joy to be in or these relationships may be a pain in your life. Either way they are here for a reason.

When Soul Mates first meet they sometimes feel as if they already know each other. They may feel very familiar to each other. Soul Mates can have a beautiful relationship together, but it will take work. Soul Mate relationships may last a lifetime and others may only be for a particular purpose and be temporary. You can have more than one Soul Mate in a lifetime.

Twin Flames are very different and very rare. Twin Flames are two people in two separate bodies that share the same Soul. Twin Flames meet each other in their first incarnation so that they remember the soul frequency of the other being. They are then usually reunited on their last time to this planet. If Twin Flames meet before they are ready they can be the total opposite and not at all compatible. When Twin Flames meet and are ready for each other, it is the most enjoyable experience possible on Earth.

At this point, Twin Flames are almost identical. They truly compliment each other and it is a hardship for them to be apart. As an outside observer it is sometimes hard to distinguish the two people. They also have a very strong bond and often have telepathy with each other. Their lives even before meeting each other have many parallels. Again, meeting your Twin Flame is very rare on this planet.

So, all relationships serve a purpose and should be honored and appreciated for what they have to offer you in your personal spiritual growth. Thank the person and the experiences for all that you have had the opportunity to learn and clear. Know that ALL relationships are sacred, because they bring us closer to the Light of All That Is. Amen and Be Blessed!

The parents

Your Type Four EnneaThought for January 13th— Reflect on your childhood today. As a child, did you believe you were not like your parents? Did you feel that you were not "seen" by your parents and that you did not connect sufficiently with your parents? As an adult, what does this have to do with you now? (The Wisdom of the Enneagram, 182) As I've said myriad times before, these things just slap me in the face with a wet fish most days. I suppose it makes sense that I should send Reiki healing to my relationships with my father and my mother. Haven't really done that for ages. It's too hard sometimes, I choose to ignore and avoid dealing with them mainly because these are the two people I've been connected with since birth. A lot of effort is required in order to 'let things slide'. Living with my dad is hell, and I'm co-creating it on purpose, as part of my desire to annoy, to hurt him the way he hurts me. My mum, well, I guess we'...

Je dois écrire

Je dois écrire . L'ironie est que quand j'avais le temps, je na'i pu pas fair rien . Doesn't matter, I have to write. I keep listening to poets like Keane and Travis and Darren Hayes and I'm here, with the creativity finally bursting forth again, and what's more, the joie de vivre bursting through and I'm not writing and I'm not taking pictures and I'm doing bloody cashier work at Oxfam. I am a swan, I am a seagull that glides and glides. I am the tree, the squirrel. Words are all I have to make myself different from you lot. To make myself lighter, somewhat more worthy. How low is my self esteem that I still believe those falsehoods. I just cannot find people on my wave length. It means I never shall. Or I do and because of my skin colour or because I am behind the Oxfam counter, or because I am in Morden, or London, or the UK, I shall never know. An opera singer. Judgement

Tarot Card Interpretation & Meaning - (20) Judgment Introduction: Judgment can be a card about jumping to conclusions, decisions and judgments. which are too hastily made. If you are prone to such things, this is a clear signal to slow down and give things more thought and to give people "more chances." This can be a real time of spiritual awakening.           General: In general, if you are the one tending to jump to conclusions, you can put a stop to it. If others are making these kinds of decisions about you or about someone you care for, there is really very little you can do, apart from realizing that it's their problem, not yours. Health: This is an important time to let go of the past and any wrongs that you perceive were done to you, particularly if you are dealing with chronic medical issues. Letting go of your need to be right will go a long way toward helping you to feel better. Besides, if ...
