All men are selfish... among other truths

I received one phone call and it's making me feel so uneasy. I haven't a clue why though. She seems so fake; how come I never picked up on it before? Perhaps because I, myself, was a complete fraud. Am, well not extremely, but am thinking how fucking typical of my so called relatives to not think of me when I specifically told them to tell me when Ali was there. I mean, how fucking difficult is it? Not very. Twats.

Why do people get their fucking panties in a twist when I ask them about Gift Aid? They're just so fucking rude. Hasn't anyone taught you how to say 'no' with grace and with respect of the other person? 'Ooh, she's asking me for more money. Run for the hills. My money is my life. I can't survive without it.' TWATS.

I'm not stealing money from you, HR Revenue and Customs is willingly giving it to us from your fucking tax which is automatically taken from you each April. The fucking twats. I better get some extra good karma for having to put up with these stupid, heads-up-their-asses white English folk. Honestly. We earned £93 this week just on Gift Aid. Just on Gift Aid. Some people just don't understand what it is; I'm not fucking asking you for money. MORONS. Inbreds.

And then, some of them are just so lovely. One old man with a Northern accent said "God bless you" to me today. I love him :) There was a very good looking guy who had a desi Pakistani wife. He signed up for Gift Aid and had an English first name and a Muslim surname. So he's reverted. Which means this stuff does happen. Just to other people, not to me. The wife was an average looking Pakistani girl, with a desi accent like mine.

Kind of frustrating. Mais, qu'est-ce qu'on va faire? Rien. C'est ça. If it's meant to be, it shall happen.

Otherwise, I am so fucking getting someone to make a libido lowerer.

Although, he did leave the shop without realising that she was still inside, looking at things. But that can be forgiven - he was really good looking. Sigh.

I'm watching Saathiya again today and am once again getting suckered into the idea of finding someone for me. That's why. Ha ha ha. Please. As if.

K married for love and is happy and has two kids, and her hubby seems nice, but even she says blankly and point-blankly that all men are selfish - you just cannot escape that fact. I wanted to say, the whole fucking human race is selfish actually. And rude.

Although, when I got lost yesterday, I went into the correct shop and asked the right bloke: lovely burly English man, with tattoo and so polite and nice and I'm like: either I develop my intuition about these folk or they should have signs on their foreheads or something.

So how is it that these men write such heartbreaking love songs and films and novels and poems?

Whether it's Wordsworth, or Shakespeare, Darren Hayes or Daniel Bedingfield.... are they all faking it? Or is this just their light and their Shadows take over in all other parts of their lives? God knows.

They can't all let their selfishness rule their lives. Well, they must. It wouldn't be so oft-repeated then, would it?

They pursue you for fanny. They want kids to spread their seed. They are usually - I dunno.

Muhammad and Ali and Hassan and Hussain are myths. Which men are actually good? If I was a male with my brain and personality, I'd be the most sought out male ;-) Well, save the fact that I don't want children. And I was depressed for so long.

God, how I wish I had an audience for my ramblings. I've made this completely public, but even the people I've invited to read it, won't.

Self-grandiosity, eh? Sound and fury, smouldering into nothing.

I got suckered into taking another Saturday shift - meh.

Oh, and how selfish am I? I keep forgetting about the floods in Pakistan. They've ravaged the north and are coming to Sindh now. Damn. Economy is in even more shit. Fuckit. Such loss of life, and people had to leave their animals behind. And they will die, slowly and painfully. Why do the bey-zubaan have to suffer so? They can't have karma.

And even if I was there, I'd be helpless. At least, today, I put in the hours and earned money, some of which shall buy the rotis that will feed the babies and the ORS that will save the lives.

Shit shit shit shit.

One lady put in a few coins, then came back and took out so many pound coins and just dropped them in the box. May Allah bless her always for that act. How many mouths will she potentially feed, and maybe medicines too? And drips.

I just remembered again that these people are in water and it's Ramadhan next week. Same thing happened in 2005 - earthquake a week before or was it during the first week of Ramadhan.

God is either testing them (because I am no where near there at this moment) greatly or we really are in the shit house while these self centred and soulless (well, you know what I mean) white UK folk get away with murder. Not that I am wishing stuff, but why can't the distribution of natural disasters be balanced? NO answer - it is the way of things. There is good within this.

Population control. We won't learn, though. We never do. So much shit happens aur hum haath keh uppar haath rakh keh buss....

The parents

Your Type Four EnneaThought for January 13th— Reflect on your childhood today. As a child, did you believe you were not like your parents? Did you feel that you were not "seen" by your parents and that you did not connect sufficiently with your parents? As an adult, what does this have to do with you now? (The Wisdom of the Enneagram, 182) As I've said myriad times before, these things just slap me in the face with a wet fish most days. I suppose it makes sense that I should send Reiki healing to my relationships with my father and my mother. Haven't really done that for ages. It's too hard sometimes, I choose to ignore and avoid dealing with them mainly because these are the two people I've been connected with since birth. A lot of effort is required in order to 'let things slide'. Living with my dad is hell, and I'm co-creating it on purpose, as part of my desire to annoy, to hurt him the way he hurts me. My mum, well, I guess we'...

Je dois écrire

Je dois écrire . L'ironie est que quand j'avais le temps, je na'i pu pas fair rien . Doesn't matter, I have to write. I keep listening to poets like Keane and Travis and Darren Hayes and I'm here, with the creativity finally bursting forth again, and what's more, the joie de vivre bursting through and I'm not writing and I'm not taking pictures and I'm doing bloody cashier work at Oxfam. I am a swan, I am a seagull that glides and glides. I am the tree, the squirrel. Words are all I have to make myself different from you lot. To make myself lighter, somewhat more worthy. How low is my self esteem that I still believe those falsehoods. I just cannot find people on my wave length. It means I never shall. Or I do and because of my skin colour or because I am behind the Oxfam counter, or because I am in Morden, or London, or the UK, I shall never know. An opera singer. A person who wants to wear kurtis but is scared of going into a desi shop i...

Judgement

Tarot Card Interpretation & Meaning - (20) Judgment Introduction: Judgment can be a card about jumping to conclusions, decisions and judgments. which are too hastily made. If you are prone to such things, this is a clear signal to slow down and give things more thought and to give people "more chances." This can be a real time of spiritual awakening.           General: In general, if you are the one tending to jump to conclusions, you can put a stop to it. If others are making these kinds of decisions about you or about someone you care for, there is really very little you can do, apart from realizing that it's their problem, not yours. Health: This is an important time to let go of the past and any wrongs that you perceive were done to you, particularly if you are dealing with chronic medical issues. Letting go of your need to be right will go a long way toward helping you to feel better. Besides, if ...
