Bloody hell!

Firdaus aunty, Farhat, the runes, the tarot and the I Ching all say that now is not the time for my career in the UK to begin. The I Ching even said I have to meditate and clear out the old and resolve the stuff with my father and possibly Aquila before moving forth, because then my real desires will manifest. Dammit. Meditation this, that and the other. And I like it but I have so much mental resistance over it at the same time!

Is it the right time for me to start my training in counselling in Minster Centre for September 2009?

The present is embodied in Hexagram 52 - Ken (Keeping Still): When one is resting, and he loses all consciousness of self; when he walks in his courtyard, and does not see any of the persons in it, there will be no error.

The second line, divided, shows its subject keeping the calves of his legs at rest. He cannot help the subject of the line above whom he follows, and is dissatisfied in his mind.

The situation is evolving slowly, and Yang (the active masculine force) is gaining ground.

The future is embodied in Hexagram 18 - Ku (Decay): Great progress and success will come to him who deals properly with the situation. There will be advantage in efforts like that of crossing the great stream. Weigh well though, the events of three days before the turning point, and those to be done three days after it.
The things most apparent, those above and in front, are embodied by the upper trigram Ken (Mountain), which represents stillness and obstruction.
The things least apparent, those below and behind, are embodied by the lower trigram Ken (Mountain), which is transforming into Sun (Wind). As part of this process, stillness and obstruction are giving way to penetration and following.

bugger. Everyone telling me the same thing but when it comes from the PC... it actually hits me! Dammit. Argh. Pfft.

I Ching Hexagram:
52

Name: Ken.

Keyphrase: Keeping still.

Formed By The Trigrams: Mountain over Mountain.

General: Any and all effective action must be born out of stillness.

Love: In order to see things clearly you must let go of any preconceptions.

Business: Clear your mind before making any important business decisions.

Personal: Learn how to meditate to help achieve a still mind.

Overview: Ken reminds you that if your mind is full of clutter it will not be able to hold new thoughts and ideas. Ken appears when you have a need to take a break and withdraw from the world for a moment in order to clear out the old in your mind to make way for the new. Meditation is the key to this process. It is not simply a time for rest. It is not an easy task to free your mind from daily worries, but it is necessary to do so, so that you can see and think more objectively than before. Old thoughts hinder your actions, compelling you to make the same mistakes. Clear them out - don't let them trap you.

I Ching Hexagram:
18

Name: Ku.

Keyphrase: Restoration.

Formed By The Trigrams: Mountain over Wind.

General: The problems of the past should be addressed so that the future can be approached with confidence.

Love: Any differences of opinion with your partner should be resolved at this time.

Business: Take the time to assess any damage caused by past problems and deal with them. Doing so now will help avoid stagnation in the present and future.

Personal: Bad habits and/or phobias may be holding you back. Now is the time to confront and overcome them.

Overview: Ku tends to appear when progress is being hindered in some way. Usually this is because of past obstacles or problems that were not dealt with at the time and so have continued to eat away at your progress unchecked. Ku indicates a need to examine the past issues without guilt or resentment and to deal with them so that future progress is not hindered in the same way. Be sure to ascertain the true cause or the destructive cycle will continue.

The parents

Your Type Four EnneaThought for January 13th— Reflect on your childhood today. As a child, did you believe you were not like your parents? Did you feel that you were not "seen" by your parents and that you did not connect sufficiently with your parents? As an adult, what does this have to do with you now? (The Wisdom of the Enneagram, 182) As I've said myriad times before, these things just slap me in the face with a wet fish most days. I suppose it makes sense that I should send Reiki healing to my relationships with my father and my mother. Haven't really done that for ages. It's too hard sometimes, I choose to ignore and avoid dealing with them mainly because these are the two people I've been connected with since birth. A lot of effort is required in order to 'let things slide'. Living with my dad is hell, and I'm co-creating it on purpose, as part of my desire to annoy, to hurt him the way he hurts me. My mum, well, I guess we'...

Je dois écrire

Je dois écrire . L'ironie est que quand j'avais le temps, je na'i pu pas fair rien . Doesn't matter, I have to write. I keep listening to poets like Keane and Travis and Darren Hayes and I'm here, with the creativity finally bursting forth again, and what's more, the joie de vivre bursting through and I'm not writing and I'm not taking pictures and I'm doing bloody cashier work at Oxfam. I am a swan, I am a seagull that glides and glides. I am the tree, the squirrel. Words are all I have to make myself different from you lot. To make myself lighter, somewhat more worthy. How low is my self esteem that I still believe those falsehoods. I just cannot find people on my wave length. It means I never shall. Or I do and because of my skin colour or because I am behind the Oxfam counter, or because I am in Morden, or London, or the UK, I shall never know. An opera singer. A person who wants to wear kurtis but is scared of going into a desi shop i...

Judgement

Tarot Card Interpretation & Meaning - (20) Judgment Introduction: Judgment can be a card about jumping to conclusions, decisions and judgments. which are too hastily made. If you are prone to such things, this is a clear signal to slow down and give things more thought and to give people "more chances." This can be a real time of spiritual awakening.           General: In general, if you are the one tending to jump to conclusions, you can put a stop to it. If others are making these kinds of decisions about you or about someone you care for, there is really very little you can do, apart from realizing that it's their problem, not yours. Health: This is an important time to let go of the past and any wrongs that you perceive were done to you, particularly if you are dealing with chronic medical issues. Letting go of your need to be right will go a long way toward helping you to feel better. Besides, if ...
