Who gives a shit? Except for me, who gives a damn? I am so defensive that I bring it up in almost any conversation. As a shield, as if begging them to let me be.
Why do you want to be understood anyway? You're bland and ordinary. No fucking uniqueness within you whatsoever. Stop pretending that you are different. You're made of clay, you have a hypothalamus like everyone else.
Nobody gives a shit: until and unless they've been through it, it's all words and shadow to them. You have to be at the bottom of the pile, because some people have to be. You're obviously not working at all for anything, dependent little twat that you are, so stop pretending it's anything different. You're a loser.
I've read one-seventh of Anna Karenina and it's okay - something to do; at least later on I can say to myself "Well, I've read Leo Tolstoy and he's really good..." because I have only myself to talk to at any one point. Even if I get married, it's going to be a compromise because I won't even be able to be truly me with the marriage that we've both made as a consolation prize and religious duty.
I suppose it lies with me not to give up on myself. Because I am all I have. My mum will eventually give up as well, perhaps. Who knows? I cannot afford to give up on myself.
I won't be able to go to any weddings that are late at night because the driver left yesterday in a huff.
