Your Existing Situation
Needs peace and quiet. Desires a close and faithful partner from whom to demand special consideration and unquestioning affection. If these requirements are not met, is liable to turn away and withdraw altogether.
Your Stress Sources
Is responsive to outside stimuli and wants to experience everything intensely, but is finding the existing situation extremely frustrating. Needs sympathetic understanding and a sense of security. Distressed by her apparently powerlessness to achieve her goals.
Your Restrained Characteristics
Feels that she cannot do much about her existing problems and difficulties and that she must make the best of things as they are. Able to achieve satisfaction through sexual activity.
Your Desired Objective
Desires release from an unsatisfactory situation and from existing burdens which are both depressing and intolerable. Seeking a way out, but feels there is no solution. Tries to protect herself against becoming involved in arguments and conflict.
Your Actual Problem
Depleted vitality has created an intolerance for any further stimulation, or demands on her resources. A feeling of powerlessness subjects her to agitation, irritation, and acute distress from which she tries to escape by refusing further direct participation. She confines herself to a cautious approach and a concealed determination to get her own way in the end.
Your Actual Problem #2
Needs to protect herself against her tendency to be too trusting, as she finds it is liable to be misunderstood or exploited by others. As a result, she adopts a critical and stand-offish attitude, being willing to participate only where she can be assured of sincerity and trustworthiness.
Oh well, I can't stay away from the quizzes. Especially since they ring of the truth most of the time. Well, at least it says that I am willing to experience things with more intensity. The past couple of days have been like that. Last minute spurts of activity. Don't worry, I'm still a moron.
Friday: Vicki, The Jehovah's Witness
Saturday: Fati and all the wonderful animals at London Zoo (except for the seahorses, the gorillas, the lions, tigers, rhinos, hippos. No worries, next time round.)
Sunday: Woke early and took some pictures of beautiful thingies at Cannon Hill Common.
Monday: Laundry, Tooting with Aunty S, Primark and lingerie shopping (yay!), kebab rolls at Lahori, Lebas shop where I went nuts buying Islamic books for kiddies. Then to Streatham Cemetery to recite fateha and to take pictures of a cemented fallen angel and gravestones.
Then to Garret Lane Newsagents to say khudahafiz to extended family, saw my lovely little niece, had a serious discussion with Zuli (quite astonishing, considering how shy I am really) and then off to Imperial for the al-islam.com lecture. Wasn't bad, loads of cute English Arab Shi'a guys (they do exist), one or two stylish Khoja dudes, but fortunately for me, they were all young.
So, I haven't really been obsessing...except this one guy had the softest black hair that I really, really wanted to ruffle and the most beautiful hands I've ever seen on a guy. Nails cut in perfect ovals, his black suede coat had just about the right gleam to it, he had tied his scarf to perfectly accentuate his face. His accent was that of an effortless Londoner (not a wannabe like myself) and he was the right height. And his face... if I hadn't been so damned tired by 7pm, when he made his entrance, I would have probably have gasped in wonder. Yeah, so I really haven't been obsessing all that much.
Came home at 10 pm. So no wonder I am utterly smashed today. Couldn't move a bone till twelve. Dunno when the hell I'm going to finish my packing. Abhey yaar. I need Harry Potter's magic wand. No, no, not that wand. BE-HAAAVE!
But I am feeling quite like the horny beast this past week. Emigrating to a warmer climate will only make me hornier. It's really quite pathetic. When I'm not on antidepressants, all my emotions are numbed and watered down to at least 50% and that means I can lower my gaze and not give a crap about the male-folk. I think they are slimy little beasts. But with the serotonin being increased daily with the help of a 20mg SSRI, I start to look - and feel.
Marriage has been waajib on me for almost two years now. Lord, please help. I have to find him as soon as possible. We've been wandering way too long away from one another. I try to channel him into my thought and my dreams. No luck. I begin to look at every guy: white, black, brown, Arab in order to search him. All I know is that he is not a Goth, nor does he wear a kilt or have a ginger beard.
Come on, I understand that sabarul-khair, but this is getting ridiculous. I might just get so desperate I'll ask my aunt to find me a nice, rich Khoja boy from the States.
Yup, it's gotten that bad. Ya Allah - please say kun faya-kuun.
