1. DESIRED OBJECTIVES OR BEHAVIOR DICTATED BY DESIRED OBJECTIVES.
Desires a tranquil, peaceful state of harmony offering quiet contentment and a sense of belonging.

2. THE EXISTING SITUATION OR BEHAVIOR APPROPRIATE TO THE EXISTING SITUATION.
Trying to improve his position and prestige. Dissatisfied with his existing circumstances and considers some improvement essential to his self-esteem.

3. CHARACTERISTICS UNDER RESTRAINT OR BEHAVIOR INAPPROPRIATE TO THE EXISTING SITUATION.
Willing to participate and to allow himself to become involved, but tries to fend off conflict and disturbance in order to reduce tension. Feels that things stand in his way, that circumstances are forcing him to compromise and forgo some pleasures for the time being.

4. REJECTED OR SUPPRESSED CHARACTERISTICS OR ANXIETY-LADEN CHARACTERISTICS.
Stress arising from suppression of physical or sexual desires and insufficient consideration of bodily needs. Feels unappreciated and finds the existing situation disagreeable. Wants personal recognition and the esteem of others to compensate for the lack of like-minded people with whom to ally himself and make himself more secure. His sensual self-restraint makes it difficult for him to give himself, but the resulting isolation leads to the urge to surrender and merge with another. This disturbs him as he regards such instincts as weaknesses to be overcome; he feels that only in this way can he withstand the difficulties of the situation. Wants to be valued as a desirable associate and admired for his personal qualities. Insecurity arising from lack of allies.

5. THE ACTUAL PROBLEM OR BEHAVIOR RESULTING FROM STRESS.
Depleted vitality has created an intolerance for any further stimulation, or demands on his resources. A feeling of powerlessness subjects him to agitation and acute distress. Tries to escape from this by relinquishing the struggle, and by finding peaceful and restful conditions in which to recuperate in an atmosphere of affection and security.

Depleted vitality has created an intolerance for any further stimulation, or demands on his resources. This sense of powerlessness, combined with frustration that he cannot control events, subjects him to agitation, irritation and acute distress. He tries to escape from these by stubborn insistence on his own point of view, but the general condition of helplessness renders this often unsuccessful. Is therefore very sensitive to criticism and quick to take offense.

The shades in the colours are much brighter in the Axlife website than they are in the Colorquiz website. So I am taking both at the same time to see if that makes much of a difference. It probably does. Especilly since I'm not going to click the colours in the same order the second time around.

Hmmmm....

The guy at Hyderi is a spitfire, eh. Sheikh Jehad Esmail from Australia. It would be so cool to have discussions with him. Man, I like him loads. It's such a shame that the Hyderi people thought it wise to have a phudda with the web guy so we can't watch his lectures online :( Grrr. I wouldn't have known about this Zakir Naik thing otherwise.

I am going to try to stop using 'street language' as the Sheikh admonished us for yesterday. I use it too much. I think I wanted to either fit in or stand out or be cool or express myself in a way that was cool. Let's see all the words I now use on a regular basis. And this is up til yesterday, while waiting outside for my dad and after the lecture.

Bugger
Fuck
Twat
Wanker
Retard
Shit/Shite
Crap
Turd
Fuckwad
Tosser
Bloody
Frigging
Fricking

Surprising, are these all I can remember now? Shame, Sukaina. How hypocritical can you be? I'll add more as they come to me.

I just rang my mum and woke her up. But it was so good to hear her voice. I hate Gujarati, right? But my God, when I heard her say 'Kem chho beta?' in that loving, sleepy voice of hers.....ah, Heaven! Absolute Heaven.

And anyway, the Sheikh reminded me about how mothers deserve everything of ours three times to the father. So I've spent 9 months with daddy dearest. Now I have to spend 9 times 3 times with mum. How much is that? 27 months. I had to ask my ESTJ dad for the answer. Can't even do basic maths sums any more.

I keep asking her about that kitty. She says that Chacha has trained her really well. She mews when he tells her to, she goes to him when he tells her to. Well, if she is his, I hope there's another kitty for me.

OK, I'm too sleepy to continue this. It's creeping into maudlin territory, anyway.

The parents

Your Type Four EnneaThought for January 13th— Reflect on your childhood today. As a child, did you believe you were not like your parents? Did you feel that you were not "seen" by your parents and that you did not connect sufficiently with your parents? As an adult, what does this have to do with you now? (The Wisdom of the Enneagram, 182) As I've said myriad times before, these things just slap me in the face with a wet fish most days. I suppose it makes sense that I should send Reiki healing to my relationships with my father and my mother. Haven't really done that for ages. It's too hard sometimes, I choose to ignore and avoid dealing with them mainly because these are the two people I've been connected with since birth. A lot of effort is required in order to 'let things slide'. Living with my dad is hell, and I'm co-creating it on purpose, as part of my desire to annoy, to hurt him the way he hurts me. My mum, well, I guess we'...

Je dois écrire

Je dois écrire . L'ironie est que quand j'avais le temps, je na'i pu pas fair rien . Doesn't matter, I have to write. I keep listening to poets like Keane and Travis and Darren Hayes and I'm here, with the creativity finally bursting forth again, and what's more, the joie de vivre bursting through and I'm not writing and I'm not taking pictures and I'm doing bloody cashier work at Oxfam. I am a swan, I am a seagull that glides and glides. I am the tree, the squirrel. Words are all I have to make myself different from you lot. To make myself lighter, somewhat more worthy. How low is my self esteem that I still believe those falsehoods. I just cannot find people on my wave length. It means I never shall. Or I do and because of my skin colour or because I am behind the Oxfam counter, or because I am in Morden, or London, or the UK, I shall never know. An opera singer. A person who wants to wear kurtis but is scared of going into a desi shop i...

Judgement

Tarot Card Interpretation & Meaning - (20) Judgment Introduction: Judgment can be a card about jumping to conclusions, decisions and judgments. which are too hastily made. If you are prone to such things, this is a clear signal to slow down and give things more thought and to give people "more chances." This can be a real time of spiritual awakening.           General: In general, if you are the one tending to jump to conclusions, you can put a stop to it. If others are making these kinds of decisions about you or about someone you care for, there is really very little you can do, apart from realizing that it's their problem, not yours. Health: This is an important time to let go of the past and any wrongs that you perceive were done to you, particularly if you are dealing with chronic medical issues. Letting go of your need to be right will go a long way toward helping you to feel better. Besides, if ...
